Fabric Horse Web Shots

Sunday, July 18th, 2010

This week I photographed for Fabric Horse [link], a small business that has been dubbed “Philadelphia’s premier outfit for utilitarian goods and costumes for urban life.”

I’m the proud owner of one of their custom-made seatbelt bags, and will very soon order myself a fanny pack. I swear, these are the best bags for biking around the city. The bag I have now is the perfect size for my camera and accessories. I think I use it nearly every day.

Stephen Kent’s Sculpture

Tuesday, April 13th, 2010

Stephen has his ceramic studio directly above our photography studio. This is one piece he displayed in our space for a week. It’s a porcelain chandelier. I decided to first take a standard product shot on black, so that the white of the piece would stand out. But Stephen preferred seeing it in a setting, against the white of our studio. I think I like both side by side, so you can see the details in one picture, and the ambiance in another.

Agrimony and Everlast (and The Random Tea Room)

Friday, February 12th, 2010

Agrimony and Everlast [link] is a massage parlor run by Matthew Beck and Sarah Wilson. They are located in the back of The Random Tea Room in Northern Liberties [link]. These are just a few promo shots of the parlor. The room was really tight and hard for me to get a nice wide picture, so I might have to go back and re-shoot the room. Matt and Sarah wanted the warm and dark ambiance to be a factor in the photos.
