Today I went to HYMY Industries studio today to print some promo materials. Here’s a little tour of the space.

My wedding photography business, Love Me Do, took part in an open house for the Horticulture Center as a wedding venue. I’ve photographed here several times before, including the recent renovation of the office and conference room.

I worked at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Philadelphia this summer in the Marketing/Communications Department. While I was there we held the Summer Studio with Anthony Campuzano (who’s studio is in the same building as mine!). I went down and photographed TC’s set up for summer studio, which consisted of a few different pieces of art from other artists/friends.

This week I photographed for Fabric Horse [link], a small business that has been dubbed “Philadelphia’s premier outfit for utilitarian goods and costumes for urban life.”

I’m the proud owner of one of their custom-made seatbelt bags, and will very soon order myself a fanny pack. I swear, these are the best bags for biking around the city. The bag I have now is the perfect size for my camera and accessories. I think I use it nearly every day.

Fairmount Park and the Walnut Lane Bridge

You might have seen alot of these in Holga-form in an earlier post. The above images were taken with the Hasselblad. My love.

Nadine [link] and I drove around location scouting the other week. She’s been very interested in these mounds. Upon getting up close to them, they reminded me so much of deserts in Arizona. These are located in Port Richmond, in Philadelphia. They are sand and gravel to be used for roads.

When I was shooting those pictures of Basil, I took a look at the surrounding area and was totally taken in by the combination of industry vs. nature. This is definitely the next/current phase of photography I’ve been going through.
