Basil

March 4th, 2010

Basil is always so deep in thought. She also refused to look at the camera, but all in all, she did good. Such a classy lady.

I still have a roll and a half of film to develop. I’ll post them when I get them developed.

Walking around the neighborhood

February 25th, 2010

My friend Arjun was in town the other week and we decided to drive/walk around the neighborhood to take photographs. I took him to a few places I had been meaning to photograph. Alot of these places I pass by nearly every day. It was nice to be able to focus on certain scenes, ones I never think twice about, and really let the feeling of my surroundings direct a photograph.

It was also nice that Arjun is continuously enthralled by our city, being that he is from out of town. It made me appreciate the city for what it offers me, and reminds me of why I am here.

Snowstorms

February 22nd, 2010

Philadelphia likes to plow the snow to different locations throughout the city. Sometimes these are empty lots, sometimes they are privately owned lots. Here’s one I found by my house.
